Orderpicker EPT – Waalwijk

Our customer is a supermarket chain and they supply all stores daily from their distribution center in Waalwijk. They are known as the store for your daily convenience. With approximately 13,000 stores in 48 countries, our customer is one of the largest food retailers in the world and always nearby. Our customer’s stores have a sophisticated (fresh) range for every moment of the day.
The Netherlands has more than 450 independent stores, run by entrepreneurs. They do everything they can every day to make it easy for you. In addition, about a hundred neutral stores use our logistics process of purchasing and distribution.
Function
You will collect orders from the warehouse using an electric pallet truck (EPT) and a voice picking system. Then you fill the containers. As soon as these containers are complete, ensure that they are neatly placed on the docks and signed out on time. The voice picking system tells you the pick location, the product and the quantity you need to pick. No hassle with paper pick lists, but a headset that tells you what to do. Easy and fast!
In this way, production schedules are met and all store owners receive their orders with all products on time!
In this position you will work varying shifts from Monday to Friday, between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m.
Don’t have any experience yet? Don’t worry, our customer will teach you everything. You will have your own trainer who will teach you how to drive an electric pallet truck (EPT) during the first week and who will explain everything about this EPT, the voice picking system and our customer’s working method. They pay a lot of attention to training to make your new job successful together.

Requirements

- When you have logistics work experience, that is an advantage;
- You would like to learn something new and, together with your colleagues, ensure that all orders leave the distribution center on time;
- You are willing to work on Saturdays and in varying shifts.

This vacancy is on a temporary basis, and if you have successfully completed the 12-month temporary employment period, you have a chance to get a contract with our client.
