Mechanical Engineer – 's-Hertogenbosch

For our client we are looking for a mechanical engineer for the workshop. A mechanical engineer with knowledge of metal. In order to serve their customers flexibly and to deliver quality, they have many of their own machines and a workshop that works at a professional level. You maintain and repair the offered machines. Mainly electrical, some with pneumatics and hydraulics and diesel generators. Together with the project leaders and owner you come up with innovative solutions to implement new customer requirements. For this you convert machines and adjust machines. Or you develop a system with suction cups and a metal profile, along which sawing can be done. There is no shortage of materials and resources, almost all work can be carried out in our own workshop. The workshop manager is more than experienced in terms of electricity and inspections. His team is supplemented by a very experienced inspector with extensive knowledge and experience in the electrical field. And a seasoned mechanical engineer. Internal training is possible. We speak basic English and a little German, so if you come from the Ukraine, or other places, you are very welcome.

Within this position you are responsible for:

• Assessing machines that are offered for repair and (preventive) maintenance;
• Making diagnoses based on the repair receipt and assessing the machine in general to prevent stagnation in execution;
• Repairing machines, both mechanically and electrically;
• Building specials and adjustments in consultation with management and project management;
• Independently reproducing parts with the right choice of materials and accuracy;
• Solving ad-hoc malfunctions on;
• Ensures order and cleanliness in the workshop, warehouse and outdoor area.
